Many thanks to the good citizens of Springfield, Vermont, and the surrounding area who came to hear me read from my book Guitar: An American Life and speak on “How the Guitar Conquered America.”
Great attendance, good questions, interesting observations, and I found out when Gibson introduced its first truss rods.
Not to mention that I got to play my version of Billie Holiday’s “God Bless’ the Child.”
Who could ask for more?
