Writers Without Borders (WWB) is a non-profit organization based in the U.S. dedicated to helping health professionals in the developing world write about the important and urgent issues they encounter, and to help their writing to reach a global readership.
WWB was founded in 2007 by Dr. Omar Khan, a physician and public health specialist, and Tim Brookes, a widely-published writer who has written five books on health-related subjects. Since then, WWB has run a variety of workshops in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Egypt, and is actively looking for host partners in the developing world.

Dear Tim:
As the founder and director of an international group of freelancers (our goal at the moment is primarily to market non-fiction magazine articles), I’ve long been interested in fostering writing across borders. Therefore, I’d love to hear more about what you’ve got going — perhaps there might be an opportunity for collaboration here.
Best regards,
Darrell Laurant
